Like Aaron above, I'll start a post on my mobile device (usually using Word Mobile) but wait to publish it until I'm back at a computer. Most of the time I write from my mobile I'm at work in a car, so depending on my job I may have to drop the phone and zoom somewhere. Plus, no matter how ergonomic many mobile keyboards are, there are going to be typos, and knowing my brain the post will definitely have to be proof read before publishing.

Some spontaneous posts are done on the road, but usually only when I;m uploading a single photo with a blurb.

I will often start a blog draft on my Blackberry or at least outline some key thoughts while they're fresh in my head. I don't write too many entire posts while mobile, preferring to clean them up when I have more robust tools on my desktop, but being able to draft while mobile helps ensure I don't lose a thought.
