Short, Simple Words and Sentences Helps
Posted by Jaren as Blog Tutorial, TipsSimple Words and short sentences help make your post easier to read rather than a full page without breaks. If you’re gonna post about 1000 words chop it up to small sentence so that it’s easy on the eyes.
Break up your post by adding sub-headlines, Because sub-headlines breaks up the page into chunky bits of information that catches the readers attention making it easy to digest, plus it also catches the attention of “skimmers”, Well, “Skimmers” are people that “skim” or cruise by your blog or post looking for interesting bits of information to read. And to the rest of your readers who just look at your posts and not actually read it.
Don’t torture your readers by making a very long, grueling post, instead try to write short, direct statements to better connect with your readers. Short and direct statements bring impact to your readers making your post more informative and a pleasure to read and another tip is to write with authority, use forceful words don’t write about if’s, but’s, and maybe’s but be certain and use force, back it up with facts and tell them with authority that you know what you’re talking about and you as the author is in control.
Use Verbs, simple verbs that promote action and authority such as Go, Do, Push, Find, Unlease, Strike, Open, Turn, Discover etc.. and lots more. Those verb-injected sentences creates a very magnetic feel to your posts that in turn makes your readers want to read more.
