Just Write It!

Posted by Jaren as Blog Tutorial, Submissions, Tips, Writing When stumped, and having restrictive flow in your brain here's what you need to do... Just Write, then Edit later, whatever ideas come into mind just write it and save it as draft you can go back to it anytime. Sometimes, it’s so difficult to finish a blog post of 150 to 200 words, with good content and satisfying overall quality. Personally, this problem comes from my being obsessive-compulsive in writing. It is when I am writing with so much eagerness and ideas, I suddenly stop and break my momentum. And no, it wasn’t because of some emergency but because I ...

Duplicate Contents

Posted by Jaren as Blog Tutorial, Opinion, Submissions, Syndication, Writing Duplicate Contents : it has its advantages it also has its share of disadvantages. I can't lie, I've been doing some of this lately but I feel uneasy every time I do it. But the reasons we "copy" articles / posts is that it made an impact in our minds and we want to share it with other readers and hope that it ...

Posted by Jaren as Blog Tutorial, Blogging Tools, Creating a Blog, Linking, Opinion, Submissions, Tips, Writing Because of this post on Guru's post on succesful link baiting it came to me as an idea that there is also one form of link baiting which I do often. I post exagerated articles like this for example : A Day without Coffee at the QuickStop. I know , I exagerated a bit but heck it did give me a whole lot of traffic, I didn't lie. Benefiting from Article Syndication

Posted by Guru as Marketing and Search Optimization, Promotion, Submissions, Syndication Though article syndication is not that encouraged anymore and is even viewed by many as totally not worth the effort, there are still some advantages one can get by submitting articles. The Fall of Article Directories

Posted by Guru as Linking, Marketing and Search Optimization, Promotion, SEO Features, Submissions, Syndication One way you can promote your blog is by submitting articles to article directories. However, this method might not do much good for your blog or website. A few years back submitting an article to ezinearticles or some other big article directory did wonders for ones page rank. However, anyone who's been using this technique for some time now can attest to the fact that it has become less and less effective to the point that many have decided to stop submitting articles altogether. The problem with article directories is pretty much the same problem that permeates the whole internet ...

Voices Carried Thru Blogging

Posted by Professor as Blog Tutorial, Community Building, Creating a Blog, Design and Themes, Opinion, Submissions, Terminology, Tips, Writing Blogging has been getting quite some attention lately and the bottom-line of it all is the fact that blogging holds a lot of what a person holds in his mind, mostly expressions he or she holds back most of the time. There is no question that most people hesitate to let their voices be heard, apparently being wary of possible violent reactions from people who know more about particular areas and do not accommodate any points that would not have sufficient claims. Blog Discussions Blogs are not meant to replace the usual definitions and terminologies that all ...

Image Relevance in Blog Posts

Posted by Professor as Blog Tutorial, Community Building, Creating a Blog, Design, Design and Themes, Images, Promotion, Submissions, Templates, Terminology, Tips Bloggers can use any image of their liking to act as supporting designs for usual blogs that want to prove a point. Some insights may not be shared by other people, but from the viewpoint of one person alone, a broad image to support blog entries would need in-depth content meaning for the whole entry to be justified. Graphics Artist Blogger Irrelevant images pointing towards the actual gist of a blog entry is something that may be risky. For one thing, not all people would understand the actual intent of the blogger. To some people, blogs ...
