More On Paid Posts: PayU2Blog

Posted by Jimmy as Monetization Features

We have been talking about paid posts in the past couple of posts. In the previous post, I featured PayPerPost, one of the most – if not the most – popular paid post platform today. Another platform that I use is PayU2Blog. I think they have been around for quite some time as well and they have definitely become quite popular all over the world.

Unlike PayPerPost, you do not have to actively “look” for opportunities with PayU2Blog. The way they operate is by assigning posts to their members. As such, you only have to check your account several times a week for assignments. Another difference is that with PayU2Blog, the assignment requirements are usually constant. That is, the word count and payment are almost always the same. The figures are normally $5 for a 60-word post.

PayU2Blog does not explicitly state the specific requirements for a blog to be approved. What you need to do is make sure that your blog has been around for several months at the very least. You also have to have a considerable amount of traffic. As for PageRank, I do not think that it matters much. Then again, the higher the better. But just FYI, I have a blog that was approved even if it didn’t have PageRank back then. It took me several weeks of submitting my blog before I got an acceptance e-mail, though.

As for the payment, PayU2Blog pays its bloggers every other week through PayPal.
