Learning SEO: Official Search Engine Blogs

If you are into SEO and plan on reading blogs then it is plain silly to miss out on what you can learn from the official blogs of the top search engines - Google, Yahoo, Ask, and MSN. Although not everything on the blog will be about SEO nor even relevant to SEO keeping yourself updated on the latest search engine news/developments will definitely aid you in your SEO efforts. After all SEO is about search engines and there is no better place to learn more about the search engines than their own blogs. Note though that not all the blogs are update regularly and sometimes it even takes weeks before some of the blogs updated.

Google Blogs

The Official Google Blog - All about Google’s products, technology and culture. You will get more news about various Google apps rather than stuff about search but this blog is still a really valuable resource.

Inside Adwords - Google’s blog about news, tips, and information on Adwords. This blog is essential for those whose SEO campaign includes paid search as part of the strategy.

Google Webmaster Central Blog - Google describes the blog as the blog on official news on crawling and indexing sites for the Google index. Quite obviously this is the blog for those into SEO to subscribe to. If you want to stay up-to-date on the latest developments that could hurt/benefit your SEO efforts you should definitely read this blog on a regular basis.
