As a blogger, you should remember that you do have some responsibility on what you publish online and this is not only about content. If you want to keep a good blogging reputation, better start with the technicalities of writing. When writing your posts, it ...

My Opinion on Link Baiting

Posted by Jaren as Blog Tutorial, Blogging Tools, Creating a Blog, Linking, Opinion, Submissions, Tips, Writing Because of this post on Guru's post on succesful link baiting it came to me as an idea that there is also one form of link baiting which I do often. I post exagerated articles like this for example : A Day without Coffee at the QuickStop. I know , I exagerated a bit but heck it did give me a whole lot of traffic, I didn't lie. I just added a couple of hours, to make my post seem more exciting. Plus, another successful form of link baiting is debunking rumors or news about something which is accepted as ...

Add pictures to your Blog

Posted by Jaren as Blog Tutorial, Creating a Blog, Images, Tips, Writing Here's a cool blog tip. Try add pictures relevant to your post to make it more appealing and more attractive to other readers. If you can add you own homemade video the better. Pictures add dept to your posts makes it more exciting and more true. Although an overload of pictures on your post may seem overkill so limit it to just 2-3 pictures. But you can still go as many as 5-10 pictures If it's about photography. Also add your own personalized logo or your picture and tell something about yourself. Advertise yourself : state your strengths, hobbies or anything ...

Voices Carried Thru Blogging

Posted by Professor as Blog Tutorial, Community Building, Creating a Blog, Design and Themes, Opinion, Submissions, Terminology, Tips, Writing Blogging has been getting quite some attention lately and the bottom-line of it all is the fact that blogging holds a lot of what a person holds in his mind, mostly expressions he or she holds back most of the time. There is no question that most people hesitate to let their voices be heard, apparently being wary of possible violent reactions from people who know more about particular areas and do not accommodate any points that would not have sufficient claims. Blog Discussions Blogs are not meant to replace the usual definitions and terminologies that all ...

Staying On-Topic When Blogging

Posted by Professor as Blog Tutorial, Creating a Blog, Design and Themes, Hosting, Templates, Terminology, Tips For most bloggers, the ideas running in their heads will most likely become distorted due to anxiety and the desire to be able to expound on various topics of concern properly. This is only normal but just like in any activity that they are very much inclined to prove, the need to discipline and take into consideration that they should not get off topic must be observed. Focused Writer The issue here is that readers will not be too forgiving in making criticism, taking them to levels where they would bash bloggers at will once they have ...
